Leasing and Exclusive Beats:

You can either buy exclusive rights to your beast or leasing rights.

Exclusive rights means we are transferring full ownership of the beat to the customer. They own the copyrights and may do what they please with the beat because it is now theirs. You cannot reuse or resell the beat without written consent.

Leasing is selling only limited rights to the beats. The Blackout Beat can owns these beats and can resell them at will.  The customers rights include the right to use the beat for their own recordings, sell the songs they make with these beats and to use them for performance purposes, both live and broadcast as long as production royalties are paid to The Blackout Beat when publishing issues arise.  This is very uncommon with artists who lease beats since they generally use them for local promotional campaigns and performances.

In addition to the many projects and events we have on our plate we have also been prepping for a major Beat Shop overhaul.  This includes a new look, easier shopping and of course more beats.  We be starting from scratch with a fresh pallet of sounds that are more reflective of our current sounds and style.  This means no more ZHip Hop Beats. 

It also means that before we can relaunch The Beat Shop we need to make room for the new.  This means its time for a major sale.  Here’s how it works:

1.  Choose your beat.  Browse through our large library and find something you like.  Head bopping and toe tapping are usually good indicators that you like it.

2.  Buy the beat seculry via PayPal.  Please don’t send us envelopes stuffed with cash. 

3.  You will receive an email from us after your purchase thanking you and asking you to select another beat. 

4.  Then choose anther beat you like.

5.  Reply to the email with the name of the beat you like.

We will reply with a download link.  And we will probably thank you again or provide some encouraging words as you begin the writing process. 

Repeat steps 1-5 if you like what you hear.
